AI is nice, they are generally predictable and can offer new situations in every match to flavor up the game. Most of my personal playtime is spent playing with friends in MP, but almost never do we have enough to field a full house, alas we end up using AI to fill those gaps. Most of us who enjoyed the game at launch still enjoy it every now and then when we come back to play this gem. As many know Age of Wonders has aged fairly well in it's lifetime.
